Steps to becoming a Franchisee

The process toward becoming a Freddy's Frozen Custard franchisee begins with an initial phone call from you to inform us of your interest and desired location(s).  Once we've had the opportunity to familiarize ourselves with each other, we will take the appropriate steps to bring your interest to fruition.  The following is a general overview of the on-ramp process:

1. Complete the Request for Franchise Disclosure Document form and return to  Freddy's.

2. Complete and submit the FRANCHISE APPLICATION for our review.

3. Review the FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT, (FDD), making note of the items you need clarified.

4. Perform your due diligence as consistent with any investment opportunity.

5. Secure Freddy's approval for meeting the franchise qualifications.

6. Negotiate your desired territory and sign a Development Agreement.

7. Execute the documents consistent with the License Agreement.

8. Secure Freddy's approval on site location.

9. Commence construction on your first Freddy's Frozen Custard store.

10. Begin initial management training
